What is Jazz?
Jazz is mainly improvisational in nature. It started to
develop in the 20th century in New Orleans. It consists of many solo
performances. Jazz is used to express emotions from positive to negative. The
common instruments used are trumpets, saxophones, pianos, and trombones. Jazz was originally was created from African American citizens in the late 19th century.
New Orleans is one of the largest attractions for Jazz music
in the country. New Orleans attracts nearly 4 million tourists a year for Jazz
music.

Prime Example Jazz Club. 1909 N. Broad St. Plays both Jazz and Blues music. Monday - Friday 4pm- 9pm. It is well lit and colorful.
