The visit through NOLA

January 3, 2019, started my journey through the great city of New Orleans. New Orleans has so much history and so much music. If you want to listen to some great Jazz and Blues go to New Orleans and you will not always find it in the clubs and venues. You can find them right on the streets. While there I visited the Cabildo and Presbytere. There some of the greatest history about music laid out. Below are a few of the photos that I had taken.
Fats Domino's Piano
Bunk Johnson and Kid Ory Revival

Jazz Fest 68

Louis Moreau Gottschalk
Kid Ory's trombone

Oscar "Papa" Celestin's  death mask

Tuba Fats sousaphone
Bazooka Edward "noon" Johnson

Sidney Bechet's Saxophone

Almost every one of the streets I happened to walk down during this trip I had the chance to see and take pictures of the bars and clubs that I have personally added to the pages. One of the one's I actually spent time in was BBKing's Blues Club. It had great food and great blues music. Below is a picture of the inside. They had numerous paintings and pictures of famous musicians. One in particular that I love is Otis Redding.

While walking around the city I did run into this park. The Musical Legends Park. The Legends that are included and displayed in the park are: Allen Toussaint, Fats Domino, Al Hirt, Pete Fountain, Irma Thomas, Chris Owens, Ronnie Kole, and Louis Prima.
